This Privacy Policy explains how Junaid Mohammed Abdul Nayeem, an individual developer based in Chicago, Illinois, United States ("I," "me," or "my"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Manifestation Mantra mobile application (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
IMPORTANT: The App allows you to enter personal goals, intentions, reflections, and journal entries. This information may be deeply personal to you. Please read Section 3 carefully before entering any information you would not want stored or processed by me or by my service providers. Do not enter information you consider highly sensitive, including detailed medical information, financial account details, government identifiers, passwords, or information about identifiable third parties.
1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
The App is developed and operated by Junaid Mohammed Abdul Nayeem, an individual located in Chicago, Illinois, United States, acting as the data controller. There is no company, corporate parent, or affiliate. All privacy and support inquiries may be sent to junaid.mohammed777@yahoo.com.
2. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
Account information. If you create an account, the identifier you use to sign in is collected, such as an email address or a privacy-preserving identifier provided by Sign in with Apple, and optionally a display name.
Onboarding and preference information. Your responses to setup questions about the goals, themes, and areas of life you wish to focus on, along with your reminder times and content preferences.
User Content. Intentions, goals, journal entries, gratitude entries, notes, and other text you create in the App.
Support communications. Information you send to junaid.mohammed777@yahoo.com, including the contents of your message.
3. SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Depending on what you choose to write, your User Content may reveal information about your health, mental or emotional state, relationships, sexual orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, or financial circumstances. In some jurisdictions this qualifies as sensitive or special-category personal data.
This information is processed only to provide the features you request, such as generating personalized mantras and audio for you, and only on the basis of your explicit consent, which you provide by choosing to enter the information. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the content or your account, or by writing to junaid.mohammed777@yahoo.com.
Your User Content is never used to build advertising profiles and is never sold.
4. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
Usage data. Screens viewed, features used, sessions, taps, audio played, streak activity, and similar interaction data.
Device and technical data. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, crash reports, performance data, and device or user identifiers.
Approximate location. Coarse location inferred from IP address or device region settings, used for regional content, language defaults, and analytics. Precise GPS location is not collected.
Purchase data. Subscription status and transaction validation information received from Apple. Full payment card details are never received.
5. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information is used to: provide, operate, and maintain the App; generate personalized mantras, affirmations, and audio content based on your inputs; save and sync your content and progress; send reminders and notifications you have enabled; process and validate subscriptions; respond to support requests; analyze usage in order to fix problems and improve features; detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases (where GDPR or similar law applies): performance of the contract with you; your consent, for sensitive content, notifications, and any optional analytics; legitimate interests in securing and improving the App; and compliance with legal obligations.
6. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PROCESSING
To create personalized content, information you provide, including your stated intentions and preferences, may be transmitted to and processed by third-party artificial intelligence service providers acting as processors under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
These providers are instructed not to use your data to train their models. They may retain data for a limited period for abuse monitoring and security purposes, as described in their own policies.
There is no human review of generated content before it reaches you. See the Terms of Service for important limitations regarding AI-generated content.
7. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED
Your personal information is not sold and is not shared for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information is disclosed only as follows:
Service providers. Cloud hosting, database and storage, authentication, crash reporting, product analytics, artificial intelligence processing, audio delivery, and customer support tools, each processing data on my instructions.
Apple. For app distribution, subscription processing, and receipt validation. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Legal and safety. Where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where disclosure is believed in good faith to be necessary to protect legal rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or a security incident.
Business transfers. In connection with a sale or transfer of the App or its assets, subject to this Policy continuing to apply.
Public sharing at your direction. If you use a share feature to post content outside the App, that content is no longer private and its further use is outside my control.
8. NOTIFICATIONS
Push notifications are optional and can be disabled at any time in your device settings or within the App. You are not tracked across apps or websites owned by other companies, and no data is used for third-party advertising purposes.
9. DATA RETENTION
Account information and User Content are retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete an item, it is removed from active systems promptly and from routine backups within 30 days. When you delete your account, associated personal data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely.
10. SECURITY
Technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk are used, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, and restricted administrative access.
HOWEVER, NO METHOD OF TRANSMISSION OR STORAGE IS COMPLETELY SECURE. THE ABSOLUTE SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION CANNOT BE GUARANTEED. YOU PROVIDE INFORMATION TO THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, you and any relevant regulator will be notified as required by applicable law.
11. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Access and deletion in the App. You can view, edit, and delete your content and delete your account entirely from within the App's settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing; receive your data in a portable format; and not be subject to unlawful discrimination for exercising these rights.
California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the purposes of collection, and the categories of recipients, and may request deletion or correction. Personal information is not sold or shared as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
To exercise any right, contact junaid.mohammed777@yahoo.com. Requests will be verified and answered within the time required by applicable law, at no charge except where a fee is permitted. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed to and is not intended for children under 16. Personal information is not knowingly collected from children under that age. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted promptly. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information should contact junaid.mohammed777@yahoo.com.
13. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
The App is operated from the United States, and service providers may process data in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses are relied upon. You may request information about these safeguards by writing to junaid.mohammed777@yahoo.com.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This Policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above will be revised and, for material changes, notice will be provided in the App before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
