At Little Discoveries, protecting children’s privacy is a core value. Our app is designed as a calm, safe, and educational experience for young explorers, without collecting personal data or exposing children to online risks.

1. No Personal Data Collection

Little Discoveries does not intentionally collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).

This means:

• We do not ask for names, email addresses, or contact information.
  
  

• We do not require user accounts or registrations.
  
  

• We do not intentionally collect location data, identifiers, or personal content.
  
  

All experiences are designed to work without identifying the child or the parent.

2. Third-Party Services (Google Play Billing)

  To support the ongoing development of educational content, the app offers optional In-App Purchases.

• Google Play Billing: We use the Google Play Billing Library to process transactions. When a purchase is made, Google Play handles your payment information and transaction data according to Google’s Privacy Policy. 

•  Little Discoveries does not have access to your credit card numbers, bank details, or any financial information.

• The app does not use any advertising networks, social media integrations, or third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase or Google Analytics).

3. No Advertisements

Little Discoveries is completely ad-free.
We do not display third-party advertisements, sponsored content, or promotional banners of any kind.

4. Child Privacy & COPPA Compliance

The app is designed in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Because we do not collect personal information from children under 13 (or from anyone), parental consent is not required, and children can safely use the app without sharing personal data.

5. In-app Purchases & Parental Gate

  To ensure a safe environment for children:

• All In-App Purchases are restricted behind a Parental Gate (a randomized math challenge) to ensure that only adults can initiate a transaction.

• We encourage parents to enable "Purchase Authentication" in their Google Play Store settings for an extra layer of security.

6. App Permissions

Little Discoveries does not request sensitive device permissions and only requests permissions necessary for its operation.

• com.android.vending.BILLING: Used solely to enable and verify in-app purchases through the Google Play Store.

• The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or external storage.

7. Data synchronization & storage

Most features of Little Discoveries work entirely offline.

•   Local Progress: Any progress or settings are stored locally on your device and are deleted if the app is uninstalled.

•   Purchase History: Your entitlement status (what you have bought) is synchronized with Google Play servers. This ensures that you can restore your purchases if you switch devices or reinstall the app. No other user data is transmitted.
  
  

8. External Links

The app does not include external links to websites, social networks.
Children remain inside a closed, self-contained environment at all times. The only external interaction is the Google Play checkout flow, which is protected by the Parental Gate.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect future improvements or legal requirements.
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
