This Privacy Policy explains how AI Note Taker: Voice Memos (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
1.1 Information you provide to us
- Audio recordings & uploaded files that you record or import into the App for transcription, summaries, or note generation.
- Text notes, titles, tags, and other content you create inside the App.
- Support information (e.g., email address, screenshots, and message content) when you contact us for help.
1.2 Automatically collected information
When you use the App, we may automatically collect:
- Device information (such as device model, operating system version, language, region).
- Usage data (e.g., features used, session duration, in-app events, crash logs).
- Approximate location (country/region) derived from your IP address, for analytics and localization.
We do not collect your precise GPS location.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the App’s core features (recording audio, transcribing, summarizing, and saving notes).
- Send your audio/text to our servers and/or third-party AI providers to generate transcriptions, summaries, and other AI features.
- Improve the App’s performance, stability, and user experience.
- Offer customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Monitor usage, detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. AI & Third-Party Service Providers
To deliver AI features (such as transcription and summarization), we may send your content (audio, transcripts, notes) to trusted third-party AI service providers.
These providers process your data only to perform the requested operations (e.g., converting speech to text, generating summaries) and are obligated to handle it securely and in line with applicable data protection laws.
We do not allow these providers to use your content for their own advertising or to build profiles about you.
4. Data Storage & Retention
- Your notes and transcripts may be stored locally on your device and/or on our servers (if cloud or sync features are enabled).
- Audio files sent to our servers or AI providers may be stored temporarily for processing and quality assurance, and then deleted or anonymized after a reasonable period.
- We retain analytics data for as long as needed to operate and improve the App, or as required by law.
If you uninstall the App, data stored only on your device will be removed. Data stored on our servers may remain unless you request deletion (see Section 8).
5. Legal Bases (for users in the EEA/UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data based on:
- Performance of a contract – to provide you with the App and its features.
- Legitimate interests – to improve the App, prevent fraud or abuse, and ensure security.
- Consent – where required by law, such as for certain analytics or marketing.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at admin@mmappstudio.com. We will take steps to remove such information and, if necessary, delete the associated account or content.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
