PRITTHIJIT BISWAS
I am Pritthijit Biswas, a postdoctoral fellow in mathematics at Kerala School of Mathematics (KSoM) joined on 3rd August, 2026.
From May 2026 to July 2026, I served as a Visiting Postdoc in mathematics at IISER Pune. From May 2025 until April 2026, I worked as an institute postdoctoral fellow in mathematics at IIT Bombay.
From August 2024 until April 2025, I have worked as a project assistant in the research group of Prof. Jaya NN Iyer, at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc) in Chennai, India.
Earlier I obtained my PhD in mathematics from Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) in Chennai, India, under the supervision of Prof. Parameswaran Sankaran.
My research interests revolves around Moduli of vector bundles in algebraic geometry, bundles on Lie groupoids and Lie algebroid connections.
I am also highly interested in derived algebraic geometry, more specifically derived categories of coherent sheaves of moduli spaces of vector bundles over curves, Bridgeland stability conditions and their interactions with full exceptional collections and semiorthogonal decompositions.
