Some papers I've written about ideas, only moderately fleshed out. I always appreciate feedback and comments - send me an email at prithvi [dot] shashikant [at] gmail [dot] com
Individual Behavior in Convex Systems
Much of the inspiration for this paper comes from Nassim Taleb's The Black Swan, where the author outlines multiple examples of how disproportionate gains in many systems (not just wealth) go to those at the top of the distribution. I construct a theory that explains how individuals react to convex systems by imposing linearity on them. The theory also predicts behavior and decision making as an extension of linear approximations of convex systems.
Essays on Ethical Nudging
My master's thesis written at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. It details my opinion (hopefully intelligently backed by objective examples) on what constitutes an ethical nudge. I also develop a system to evaluate the ethicality of nudges by borrowing from other ethical frameworks and my knowledge of nudges.
