A strong passion for teaching acted as an impetus for me to pursue doctoral studies and prepare for a career in academia. Irrespective of the course modality (in-person, online synchronous, online asynchronous, hybrid) creating a classroom climate that is safe, fair, and inclusive is of utmost importance to me. I try to use various pedagogical methods and online tools to engage my students. I firmly believe that students can apply their intellect best and enjoy the process of learning when they can relate what they learn to real world problems. I bring in perspectives from industry to my classes with guest speaker sessions and frequently use case studies and projects.
My teaching interests include business statistics, data analytics, optimization, operations and supply chain management.

MBA 810: Business Analytics and Statistics (online MBA program)
I worked with learning architects from an instructional design firm to develop course content covering statistical concepts and business analytics tools useful for making effective managerial decisions in an uncertain environment for the online MBA program at Pace University that was launched in Spring 2021. I worked extensively with the learning architect to explore new and innovative ways of designing learning activities to create an engaging learning environment for online students.
