I am a mathematician and educator from Atlanta, Georgia, currently based in Durham, North Carolina. I am a mathematics graduate student at North Carolina Central University and incoming Faculty at Durham Technical Community College. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
My research is broad-ranging and includes work in pure mathematics, data science, and applied mathematics. My primary research interests are in low-dimensional topology.
I am a firm believer that mathematics is a powerful tool for serving our communities, learning mathematics can be joyful, and that anyone with an interest in mathematics can be a mathematician with the right support. (Yes, that includes you.)
