I am mathematics faculty at Durham Technical Community College in Durham, North Carolina.

I hold a B.S. in mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I was a two-time recipient of the undergraduate mathematics prize and graduated with honors. I hold an M.S. in mathematics from North Carolina Central University, where I graduated summa cum laude. I am an educator, researcher, and mathematics communicator.

I am a firm believer that mathematics is a powerful tool for serving our communities, learning mathematics can be joyful, and that anyone with an interest in mathematics can be a mathematician with the right support. (Yes, that includes you.)
