Katie Noh is a senior at Cornell University, majoring in Communication and minoring in fashion studies. She is excited to be back for the second issue of PRISM. As a Korean American woman, she is passionate about highlighting and empowering minority voices and creating an outlet for authors to share their unique perspectives. Her love of storytelling and conveying messages extends beyond Prism into her extracurriculars, where she serves as the Director of Graphics for Cornell Fashion Collective, which focuses on graphic design and marketing. By combining design, writing, and research, she ultimately hopes to amplify the representation of Korean Americans in the marketing industry.
Oslene is a Senior at Ithaca College, majoring in Cinematography and Photography and minoring in psychology. As a Liberian-American, she is passionate about student expression and community through the mediums of writing, film, and photography. Oslene is the Creative Director and Founder of the digital magazine ETRNL, Art Director of the collaborative student zine Dispatch, was the design editor for the award-winning student newspaper, The Ithacan, and Social Media Chair of Ithaca College Film Society. As an editor of the journal PRISM, Oslene hopes to expand her efforts to promote voices through written stories.

Lauren is a senior at Ithaca College majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Women and Gender Studies and Writing. As a researcher, she understands the frustrations of publishing and recognizes the importance of emphasizing voices that may have difficulty reaching audiences within academic and popular spaces. By being an editor for PRISM, Lauren hopes to share diverse perspectives and ideals with a variety of audiences while easing the distress of publishing one’s work. Lauren absolutely loves the research process and desires to become a researcher/professor in the future to mentor the future generation of scholars.
Daniel Lloyd Irwin is a screenwriting major and recent graduate of The Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. During his time at Ithaca, he worked on numerous short films in a wide range of creative roles, gaining hands-on experience across development, production, and post. He is the co-founder of One Shot Entertainment, a production company that has produced many of the shorts he worked on both in and outside of school. This summer, Daniel is producing his first feature film for One Shot. He currently works for Escape Artists Entertainment in Los Angeles, California.
Malaika Menezes is a Cinema Production student at Ithaca College with minors in Deaf Studies and Psychology. She loves working in creative fields and is always looking for ways to make the world a better place through media and art. Malaika believes strongly in making space for diversity and has worked on doing so in the film industry. She is excited to be a part of a journal that presents many different perspectives and works to build a community of talented writers with various ideas and viewpoints.
