Tyler is 18 years old and recently graduated from Brookfield Academy. In the fall, he will attend the University of Michigan Ann Arbor to study theatre and economics. So far in his theatre career, he has done many productions at the high school level for which he was nominated for two Jerry Awards (Outstanding Young Performer and Outstanding Lead Performer), and recently played Roy in The Trip to Bountiful with the Lake Country Playhouse. Last year, he won the Chicago branch of the ESUUS National Shakespeare Competition, which allowed him to join 24 other young actors and actresses from the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK at the British American Drama Academy's Midsummer Conservatory based in Oxford University. He would like to thank his parents for giving him constant support and allowing him to pursue his aspirations.
