1. Download the app on your phone.

2. Create an account and indicate William Prisk Elementary as the benefiting school. Use referral code K8B120UG to get a bonus with your first scanned receipt!

3. Scan your receipts!

a. When in the app, hit “scan” at the bottom. This will open your camera.

b. Align your receipt with the lines on the screen. If the receipt is too long, after taking the first picture click “section” and take a picture of the next portion of the receipt. You can add as many sections as

needed. You must scan the entire receipt.

c. Once you click submit, review your earnings. Sometimes items get missed so if you know an item has a “Box Tops” symbol on it but it was not accounted for you can click “Report missing items”. It will ask you

to scan the bar code of the missing item. Once it’s verified, it will get added to our school.

d. There is an option to assign credit. You do not need to do this now but we may use this in the future for class competition.

4. Check the app for bonus offers! There are often bonuses for buying a certain number of products from a specific store or just bonus items in general. These are listed on the home page of the app.

5. You can set up alert notifications to remind you to scan your receipts!

6. Do you shop online for pick-up or delivery? You can send electronic receipts too!

a. Forward your emailed receipt to receipts@boxtops4education.com (this needs to be from the same email account you are registered with so they know who to assign credit to).

b. If the receipt is only available through your shopping app, you may be able to forward to the above email. If not:

i. screen shot the entire receipt

ii. in the app, click on the face in the top right corner

iii. select contact us

iv. choose “submit digital receipt” then attach your screen shots
