Print Footer Watermark ("the extension") is developed by SuryaCreates. This policy explains what data the extension handles.
What the extension does
The extension adds an optional, customizable watermark (a label, date, and/or time) to the bottom of a web page when it is printed, either automatically via Ctrl+P/Cmd+P or via an optional on-page floating print button.
Data we collect
The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data with SuryaCreates, Sursite, or any third party.
The only data stored is:
- User preferences you configure in the popup (label text, date format, font size, alignment, transparency, enabled/disabled state).
- The position and size of the optional floating print button, if enabled.
This data is stored exclusively using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API, which keeps it on your device (and syncs it across your own signed-in Chrome browsers via your Google account, subject to Google's own sync policies). SuryaCreates has no access to this data, and it is never sent to any external server.
Website content
The extension's content script runs on web pages you visit solely to add the visual footer watermark and floating button. It does not read, log, analyze, or transmit the content of any page you visit.
Permissions
- storage: used only to save your footer/button settings locally, as described above.
- Content script on all pages: needed so the footer and floating button can be applied on any page you choose to print.
Third parties
We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services within this extension.
