The card structure includes the type as follow:
Horizontal card with standard size: 8.6cm x 5.4cm
Vertical card with standard size: 5.4cm x 8.6cm
Vertical large card with size: 6.2cm x 9.8cm
Custom size card with any size for your requirement
In which the horizontal and vertical card with standard size 8.6x5.4cm can be printed on any paper size such as A3, A4, A5, etc.. and printed on plastic card blanks. The card structure of large size and custom size can be only printed on any paper size but does not support printing on plastic card blanks.
You can convert from a fixed-size card structure to custom size, but can't do the opposite. To convert, Right Click on an empty area on the card structure then select "Change card size.". Click Yes to change.

When first installed, the software auto-creates 2 fixed card structures are: "Student Card" and "Back of Student card". You can use these card structures right away, or modify them to your needs.

To create a card structure, on the Card structure form, click on "Create structure" then select "Front side" on the popup menu. On the form shown, select the type of card from the combo box on the top-right location and choose the card template available or Create a new template.

To create a Back of card structure, on the Card structure form, click on "Create structure" then select "Backside" on the popup menu. On the form shown, select the type of card and choose the card template similar to creating a front card structure.
On the Popup menu, you can also select "Custom size" to create a custom size card structure. Then input the card name, width, height and click the OK button to create structure. The type of this structure allows resizing the card after it is created.
To create items on the card structure, select the item to be created on the toolbox. The list of tools is shown in the figure below
The meanings of the tools are as follows:
Pointer: When a tool is selected, click the Pointer to deselect
Add card background: Add a background image for card structure (Note: each card structure has only one background. However, You can change another later)
Add card photo: The photo card illustrates an image used to identify a person. You can add up to 5 photos per card structure.
Add image: You can add up to 5 fixed images, the usual image formats are accepted like .png, jpg, .gif,...
Add barcode: Add a barcode to the card structure. Each card structure has only one barcode. You can convert to other code formats such as QRCode or PDF 417.
Add logo:: Add a logo to the card structure. Similar to the barcode, you can only add one logo
Add data item: Add a data item to the card structure. The data item contains data that varies by each card. Some common data items such as ID number, full name, date of birth, faculty, class,...
Add title item: Add a title item to the card structure. Each title item contains data that is fixed on all cards of the same structure. eg: first name label, date of birth label, etc.
Add pair of code number: The code number and code number title usually appear on most card structures. Therefore, the "Add pair of code number" tool allows to quickly create these two objects with one click. The other tools below have the same meaning.

To create a background to card structure, click on Add card background tool on the Toolbox. On the form that appears, click the "Select" button to choose the background image from a new form.

Add card photo:
You can refer to the instructions at the bottom of the toolbox on how to create an item. To do this, first, left-click on the AAA tool, release the mouse and drag the mouse over the area of the card structure current designed and click on the position you want to create. Then a card photo will be created at the location you click. You can also change the properties of the card photo on the right property bar.

Other items like Add image, Add barcode, ... Add pair of course do the same thing.
The order is set only for data items, the registration data entry will be in this order. To set the order, click the Set order button on the toolbar. On the form shown, Select the data item and click the up or down green arrow to set the order.

The software supports importing data from excel files. Each data item on the card structure is mapped to a column in the excel file. To export the excel file, click the Export button on the toolbar then choose the file location to save and click the save button to export.

The software supports the management of many card structures, so you need to choose one to set the default. Then all input and print operations are performed for this card structure. Obviously, you can change the default card structure to another if you want. To do this, select a Card structure from the Frontside and Backside ComboBox. A message appears, select Yes to confirm.

Once you've designed the card structure, the next part is to input data to cards (which we call card registration). Click on the Card registration menu to open the Card registration form.
Note: This form's data is mapped to the Front side card structure that you have selected in the Select card structure to print area on the Card Structure form.
There are two ways to input data for the card structure are import from an Excel file and import directly on the software. If you import from an excel file, you need to prepare an excel file containing data according to the structure in section 1.6. Go to the Card Registration menu, and click on the Open file button to open the excel file to import.

To enter directly, click the New row button on the toolbar and enter the data in the row in the blue area, then click the blue arrow button on the right to add a new row of data. To update the data, click the Edit Row button and edit the data in the data cells in the red area, After editing, click the red Save button on the right to save the changed data.

When adding data, the picture path is automatically filled based on the "path" property of the Card photo. However, in case you want to change this path, do the following:: select the rows to change (recommended the first column), then click the Photo path button to select the folder which stores the Card photo. Note: Usually the code number column is used to name the image. You can change this by re-selecting the value for the "Item to set picture" property of the Card Photo object on the card structure.

Click on the Print front menu to open the print front form. Only rows with registration status will be displayed on the form. While the rows with printed or received status are not displayed on the form. However, you can change the status of these rows on the Registration form.

Before viewing cards, you can set the page size, orientation, or reset margin. The Reset margin button will set the value to default of left and top margins.
To view the card before printing, select the rows to view by clicking on the cells in the first column and then clicking the View card button on the toolbar. Wait a few seconds, a new form will appear showing the card information so you can see it before printing on paper or plastic cards.

Besides, you can create a print view list by selecting the rows you need then clicking the Add to printing list button. As a result, these rows are added to the list. You can continue to select other rows to add to the list. After creating the list, you select the rows to view in the list and then right-click the selection and select View card on the context menu to open the card preview form.
On the Preview card form, you can click the Print card button to print the pages to the printer, the Export button to export pages to a file, and the Export to image button to export each card to each image. The exported image extension format can be changed in the Options menu > Print options > File format when exporting > here, you can select PNG or JPG
Add to Printing list
The card back is designed to be printed on the same card as the front, but it's on the back of the card. Usually, the data on this site are rules in schools, businesses,...To open the Print card back form, click on the Print back menu on the menubar, when the form appears, enter information such as Number of cards, paper size and Card orientation, then click the OK button to show the preview pages.
Note: This form's data is mapped to the Backside card structure that you have selected in the Select card structure to print area on the Card Structure form.
View backside cards
Print the same content on both side
In case you want to print the same content on both the front and the back (usually the content on the front is also used for the back). as shown in the image left
To use the front side to print for the back, on the Preview the card fronts form, click the Print backside button on the right of the toolbar to reverse the position row by row. Then the back and front will match for each card.
This printing method only applies to printing on paper, not to printing plastic cards. In the case of printing the same 2-sided plastic card, it is very simple after you finish printing the front side, turn the card over and then print the backside.
Note: To make sure the backside matches the front side completely, you need to adjust the Left margin and test print a few times until the two sides match each other. Each time you change the new Left margin value, press the Reload the pages button to apply the change and the program will reload the report.

To manage the information of users receiving cards, click on the Get card menu on the menu bar. On the form, only rows with the Printed status are displayed. Of course, you can change this status value on the Registration form.
Note: This form's data is mapped to the Front side card structure that you have selected in the Select card structure to print area on the Card Structure form.

Set received status
To set default options, click the Options menu on the menubar. Some options include:
Enter License key: When installing for the first time, you will choose one of two modes: trial or have a license. If you choose the trial mode and use it until it expires, you can buy a license key to continue using the program. This function will help you enter the license key.
Card background: This function allows you to manage the card background such as: add, remove, or export a card background to a file.
Print options: This function allows you to customize some parameters when printing cards such as Page break, Hide page number on the report, Print on paper, Print on the plastic card and change file format when exporting card to image
Reduce image size when printing: This function allows auto-reducing the image size when printing cards. Because some images are too large, there will not be enough memory to display before printing.
Change font: This function allows to change the font on the forms: Card registration form, print front form and receive form.
Change language: Change the language used on the software.
Update software: Check and update the new version
The first menu allows you to perform a number of system functions including:
Log in, Log out: Log in and out of the system
Change password: change the user's password
Backup, Restore: backup and restore the current card structure
User manager: manage the list of users using the system
Rename multi-image: This is a useful function to rename multi-images. Often used to rename card photos.
Reduce image size: Reduce image size with 2 parameters are width and quality.
Delete junk data: Delete junk data in the windows temporary folder to release memory and increase the performance of reports
