PrintBT is a Bluetooth thermal printer utility application developed by VK Appworks. It is designed to help users print text, images, screenshots, and PDF files from an Android device using a supported Bluetooth thermal printer.

Information Accessed and Processed

PrintBT may receive text, images, screenshots, or PDF files that users intentionally share with the app for printing.

This content is processed locally on the user’s device only for the purpose of preparing and sending the print command to the selected Bluetooth thermal printer. The content is not uploaded to any server and is not received, stored, sold, or shared by VK Appworks.

Locally Stored Printer Information

PrintBT may store the name and Bluetooth MAC address of the last connected printer locally on the user’s device. This information is used only to support automatic printer reconnection.

The saved printer name and Bluetooth MAC address are not uploaded, transmitted, sold, or shared with VK Appworks or any third party.

Permissions Used

PrintBT may request Bluetooth Scan, Bluetooth Connect, and nearby-device permissions to discover, connect to, and communicate with nearby or previously paired Bluetooth thermal printers.

On some Android versions, location permission may also be requested because Android requires this permission for discovering nearby Bluetooth devices.

PrintBT does not use location permission to track the user. The app does not collect, store, upload, or transmit the user’s location.

Shared Content

PrintBT may receive text, images, screenshots, or PDF files shared from other applications.

Shared content is used only for printing and is processed locally on the user’s device. It is not uploaded, sold, or shared by PrintBT or VK Appworks.

Data Sharing

PrintBT does not sell or share user data with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties.

The app does not use third-party advertising services, analytics services, cloud storage services, or user-account services.

Internet Usage

PrintBT does not require an internet connection for its core printing features.

Text, images, screenshots, PDF files, printer details, and print commands are not transmitted to VK Appworks through the internet.

Data Security

PrintBT is designed to process printing content locally on the user’s device. VK Appworks does not operate a server that receives or stores content printed through the app.

Users are responsible for protecting access to their Android device and Bluetooth printer.

Data Retention and Deletion

Shared text, images, screenshots, and PDF files are processed locally for printing and are not retained on any VK Appworks server.

The name and Bluetooth MAC address of the last connected printer may remain stored locally on the user’s device to support automatic reconnection.

Users can remove locally saved PrintBT information at any time by clearing the app’s storage or data through Android Settings, or by uninstalling PrintBT from the device.

PrintBT does not require users to create an account. Therefore, the app does not maintain user accounts or account-related information.

Children’s Privacy

PrintBT is a general utility application and is not specifically directed toward children.

VK Appworks does not knowingly collect personal information from children through PrintBT.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when new features are introduced, app functionality changes, or legal and policy requirements are updated.

Any changes will be published on this page, along with an updated “Last Updated” date.
