NIFT Exam Application Process

Candidates who wish to apply for NIFT entrance examination are required to apply online through its official website. Online registration for NIFT usually starts by the end of January. The following steps can help fill the NIFT application process:

● The aspirant should clear Class 10+2 examination from a recognized board or university with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as base subjects or,

● The aspirant should appear for the General Certificate Education Examination in Sri Lanka, London etc., at advanced level or,

● The aspirant must take the examination in foreign colleges recognised by the ‘Association of Indian Universities’ or,

● The aspirant should have passed AICTE or state board recognised diploma of 3 to 4 years or,

● The aspirant appearing for Class 10+2 examinations are also eligible.

M.Des. Eligibility

● The aspirant should have obtained an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution or university or,

● The aspirant should have a diploma in undergraduate Design from NIFT or NID or,

● The aspirant who has a diploma degree of three years from NID or NIFT are eligible for application.

M.F.M. Eligibility

● The aspirant should have obtained an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution or university of India or,

● The aspirant should have obtained an undergraduate diploma of atleast 3 years’ duration fromNID or NIFT.

M.F. Tech Eligibility

● The aspirant should have attained a Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.) degree from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) or,

● The aspirant should have a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E ) from a recognized institute or university.
