Welcome to the Project 3: Where do you live?

Session 1.

In the first session, we have talked about:

• What we know about cities, houses, shops, and members of the family

• What we want to know: houses around the world, different means of transport, other members of the family (such as aunt, uncle, great-grand father...), and landscapes

Sesión 1.

En la primera sesión, hemos hablado sobre:

• Qué sabemos: ciudades, casas, tiendas y miembros de la familia

• Qué queremos saber: diferentes tipos de casas en el mundo, otros miembros de la familia (como tío, tía, bisabuelo...) y paisajes

Session 2.

We have been talking about the cities where our Language Assistants live:

• San Diego (California, USA)

• San Francisco (California, USA)

• Manilla (The Fillipines)

We have seen lots of pictures of the cities,, museums, famous bridges, cathedrals, beaches, and so on,

Hoy hemos estado hablando sobre las ciudades donde viven nuestras auxiliares de conversación:

• San Diego (California, Estados Unidos)

• San Francisco (California, Estados Unidos)

• Manila (Filipinas)

Hemos visto muchas fotos de las ciudades, los museos, puentes famosos, catedrales, playas y mucho más.

Session 3.

We have done a mind map of the present project, and we have talked about the different sections of the project, giving examples of each one. For example, family: mother, father, brother, sister...; means of transports: plane, car, underground...

Hemos realizado el esquema del proyecto y hemos hablado de las diferentes secciones del proyecto, poniendo ejemplos de cada uno de ellos. Por ejemplo, familia: madre, padre, hermano, hermana...; medios de transporte: avión, coche, metro...

Session 8. 24th of January, 2022

It's time to read and write in English! We are ready to start writing words and reading simple and short sentences.

So, we are going to start this amazing work with the vocabulary of the unit, that is to say: family members, parts of the house, means of transport, landscaps and parts of the city.

Also, it's important to continue with speaking and listening. For this reason, kids should produce simple and short sentences in English such as My name is xxx, My father's name is xxx, or The mother is in the living room, and the should also understand simple questions such as: What is your brother's name? Where is the sister? or Where do you live?

¡Es hora de empezar a leer y escribir en inglés! Vamos a empezar escribiendo palabras y leyendo frases sencillas y cortas.

Por ello, vamos a empezar este apasionante trabajo con el vocabulario de la unidad, es decir: miembros de la familia, partes de la casa, medios de transporte, paisajes y partes de la ciudad.

Además, es importante continuar con la parte oral y de escucha. Por esta razón, los niños deberán producir frases sencillas y cortas en inglés, tales como My name is xxx, My father's name is xxx, o The mother is in the living room, y también deberían entender preguntas sencillas como What is your brother's name? Where is the sister? or Where do you live?
