OTHER AWARD
These are any award duly approved by the Schools Division Superintendent upon the recommendation of the PRAISE Committee such as, but not limited to:
Service Awards – conferred on retirees whether under optional or compulsory retirement schemes held during a fitting ceremony on or before the date of retirement who shall be given a Plaque of Recognition and any form of token by the Agency.
Loyalty Awards – aims to recognize employees for their continuous and dedicated service to DepEd Antique. An employee shall receive a Plaque or Certificate of Appreciation upon serving the Schools Division of Antique for 10 years. Succeeding awards shall be given every five (5) years thereafter.
Achievers Awards – given to employees who have participated and landed in the top 3 places in a regional, national or international level competitions and to those who have garnered prestigious award(s) or cited for their notable achievement in their respective areas of interest.
Personnel Development and Academic Excellence Awards – given to employees who finished their Master’s or Doctorate degree through their own personal expense, or given to employees who topped a government licensure examination.
Cost Economy Measure Award – granted to individuals or group/team whose contributions such as ideas, suggestions, inventions, discoveries, or performance of functions result in savings in terms of man-hours and cost and benefit the Agency and the government as a whole.
Gawad KAMPIYON Award – is given to official/s and or employee/s in the Schools Division Office, District Office, and schools in recognition of exemplary display of champion-like qualities characterized by indomitable grit, commitment to duty, and unwavering sense of responsibility during DepEd sports and cultural events.
On-the-Spot Rewards and Recognition – DepEd establishes a culture of employee engagement where everyone, regardless of their designation, economic status, culture, creed, and beliefs are given equal opportunity to be recognized in their day-to-day experience which offer them meaning, impact and appreciation. Concerned division, unit or section head shall send a letter of recommendation to the PRAISE Committee for approval and proper recording and issuance of certificate codes. On-the-spot awards such as, but not limited to, may be given to outstanding employees, units, or sections:
o Gantimpala Agad Award – given outrightly to official/s and/or employee/s in the schools, districts, units, and sections commended by clients/superior/top management for their courtesy, promptness, efficiency, and dedication to duty. The following shall be considered for Gantimpala Agad Award:
a. Prompt submission of reports to the Division/District Office and schools;
b. Punctuality and perfect attendance in reporting to the office;
c. Perfect attendance in the flag ceremony in a month;
d. Wearing of the prescribed uniform;
e. Active participation to division, district, and school activities and conferences; and
f. Punctuality in SDO/district/school-led activities; among others.
o Gawad Galing Award- shall be given to official/s and or employee/s in the Schools Division Office, District Office, and schools in recognition for the following:
a. Submission of complete, accurate (validated data), and reliable reports
b. Excellence in performing duty based on the CSC guidelines
c. Noteworthiness of outstanding performance/ contribution/s
d. Impact of performance/achievements
e. Reliability and effectiveness
f. Consistency of performance
g. Client satisfaction
h. An employee has exhibited any act of courage and selflessness to the extent of risking one’s own life.
o Exemplary Behavior Award – is based on the eight norms of conduct as provided under RA 6713 (Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards).

The awardee will be automatically nominated by the Agency to the Dangal ng Bayan Award.
o 5S of Good House-Keeping Award – shall be given to SDO official/s and or employee/s whose physical areas of responsibility are well-maintained and follow good office-keeping practices as defined by the principles of 5S of good housekeeping, such as:
§ Sort – Identifying and eliminating unnecessary items in the workplace
§ Systematize – Arranging necessary items in good order for use
§ Sweep – Cleaning your workplace and equipment
§ Standardize – Maintaining a high standard of good housekeeping
§ Safety – Maintaining a safe workplace
