Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the alpha HUD?
There is none!
Prima bodies are BOM bodies and use the system "alpha mask" wearable to hide body sections. These are the lowest lag ways to hide body pieces and provide the highest degree of control. Alpha huds have always been problematic in many cases (e.g. the bust) for all bodies.
Prima does provide the ability to easily hide a few body pieces that are commonly hidden. Look on the Appearance portion of the HUD in the Visibility section.
There are several free alpha packs on the marketplace, this is an example you can use to help you when clothing creators do not provide an alpha mask:

My Omega appliers aren't working!
Prima requires an Omega relay to support Omega appliers. If you haven't purchased the relay you can get it at the Prima main store. The relay must be attached for omega appliers to operate.
What in the world are all those deformers used for?
The short answer is that they allow you to make changes to your shape that go beyond what is possible with the normal body shape sliders.
The better answer is from a video done by the amazing Nicole Maladay which will show you quickly some of the adjustments you can make to your body shape using the included body deformers.

What body skins work with Prima?
Anything branded for Prima of course (the Skinnery, DS'Elles and Enlight for example), as well as many skins designed for the original Lara body MAY work (please demo before purchase). Velour Venus/Ipanema for the original Lara body work well, as do skins from many other designers. Velour Picasso does not.
What shoes work with Prima?
Prima fitted shoes of course, but you will also find that many shoes made for Maitreya may work as well. Prima feet are not at all identical to Maitreya feet so your foot size will likely need to be 25 (the default foot size for classic avatars and many mesh bodies, but not Legacy). Anything above the ankle will likely not work because Prima legs are not the same as any other mesh avatar (they are better of course!). As always when wearing something not designed for Prima, try a DEMO first before buying!
