How do I apply?

Is there an application deadline?
Applications and all supporting documents must be submitted by the application deadline on the Apply page. The deadline is tentatively April 31st, but may be subject to change each year. Refer to the apply page for updated information.
When does the program start?
Accepted trainees will be notified of the start date.
Do I have to be associated with St. John’s Medical College and Hospital, Bengaluru to apply?
No. Trainees from India may apply for the short-term training track and do not have to be affiliated with SJMCH. Long-term trainees will be affiliated with SJMCH as Fellows.
Can I apply for the long-term trainee program if I was a short-term trainee before?
Yes! We encourage prior short-term trainees to apply for long-term trainee programs if enrolled in a master's or doctoral degree program.
Will I have to pay for my travel for workshops and training?
No. Trainees will participate in training lectures and communicate with mentors virtually. Travel and lodging will be covered when in-person workshops or lectures are held.
Will PRIIIA TEAMS support the implementation of my research project, or will I need to find funding support elsewhere?
Currently, funding support outside US is not possible. We will help prepare trainee research projects for funding submissions elsewhere.
