A Food Truck will be taking over the hall kitchen from approximately 11am to the end of the tournament. 20% of all sales will go back to the community. The menu is below and will also be shared in an email sent out to team captains on January 26, 2025 in advance of the event.
There will be a beer garden on site - weather permitting it will be outside, near the rink. Otherwise it will be in the hall. Drinks will be served from 11am to halfway through the final game. The Playmaker – for the player who sets up the most goals with great passes.
Goalie Brick Wall Award – for the goalie with the wildest, most impressive saves.
Best Dressed Team – for the team with the best jerseys or themed outfits.

We will be running a Rafflebox online 50/50 for the tournament. Proceeds will go back to the community for rink upkeep and maintenance. The link to purchase is below and the winner will be drawn at the end of the tournament. Rafflebox is an online platform and participants can share the QR code/link far and wide to generate a bigger pot for this community event. The winner does not have to be present at the event to claim the pot.
The Priddis Panthers will be running a silent auction inside the hall on tournament day. The proceeds from this event will suport their end of year tournament. There will be multiple items and baskets to bid on. In exchange for being able to run the silent auction to support their tournmanet, the Panthers have committed to providing volunteers for this event.
To ensure individuals who are signing up on their own feel welcomed and included, each team may be asked to take on players from the individual-registration list. These additional players will not affect your team’s roster—you won’t need to remove anyone to make space. We’ll match players as evenly as possible, and we truly appreciate your support in helping those new to the event feel part of the fun.
All team captains will be emailed by end of day on January 26, 2026 with the full tournament schedule and other pertinent information.
Goalies: Full equipment is mandatory.
Players: Helmets, shin pads, elbow pads, gloves, skates and sticks are all mandatory.
All shots are to be kept below the knee.
The only face off will be at the start of the game. After a goal or freezing of the puck by the goalie, the defending team gets possession and the attacking team must back up beyond the blue line.
All games will consist of a 5-minute warm up before each start and 15 minutes of run time.
There are no timeouts and the clock will not stop.
Players referee their own games and call their own penalties.
Penalties will result in a penalty shot taken at the end of the game.
There will be no icing or off sides. There will be no stoppage in play, so all substitutions will be made ‘on the fly’.
There will be no body checking or fighting.
All team members must be registered. No new players, under normal circumstances, are permitted to join a team once the registration is complete. Last minute changes to any team must be communicated with the event organizer (Leah Tenove) prior to players stepping on the ice.
Absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted.
Due to tight scheduling, the game start times will be strictly adhered to. If a team is not present at game start time, a penalty shot will be awarded to the opposing team. After 5 minutes, the late team will forfeit the game.
In the case of a tied game
During round-robin each team will split the points and receive 1 each.
During the playoffs, a shootout will determine the winner. A 3 shooter format will be used followed by the remaining 2 shooters in a sudden death format. In the event that it is still tied after, shooters can repeat as many times as they like until the game is decided by sudden death format.
Standings are determined first by win/loss/tie ratio, then by point differential. If there is still a tie in the standings going into play-offs, a game of rock, paper, scissors will be played between the tied teams to determine their rankings.
This is a family-friendly, community tournament. We expect you to maintain a level of absolute sportsmanship at all times. Significant unsportsmanlike conduct could result in the removal of your team from the tournament.
The tournament is weather, and ice conditions permitting. If conditions are deemed unsuitable for play, all registration fees will be returned.
