I’m a Researcher at Technical University Dresden (Germany) and a Research Fellow at ESCP Business School. I hold a Ph.D. from ESCP Business School.
My research interest is at the intersection of psychology and social norms in management accounting. I explore questions on compensation practices, performance evaluation, and the role of managers' traits in management accounting. For example, in my latest research, I investigate the impact of core value statements on managerial honesty.
My research has been published in journals including the European Management Review, European Management Journal, Review of Accounting and Finance, and Journal of General Management.
I have taught management accounting and financial accounting at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Outside academia, I enjoy spending time with my family, trail running, and visiting independent cinemas.
