This Privacy Policy explains how AI Note: Voice & Smart Notes ("AI Note", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App.
We respect your privacy and aim to collect and process only the information necessary to provide and improve the App.
AI Note may allow you to create or store information including:
• Text notes
• Checklists and tasks
• Voice recordings
• Audio files you choose to import
• Transcripts
• AI-generated summaries
• Tags, folders and note metadata
Where supported, core note content and recordings may be stored locally on your device.
Information stored only on your device is not transmitted to us unless you choose to use a feature that requires external processing, such as certain AI or cloud transcription features.
AI Note may request access to your device's microphone when you choose to record a voice note.
Microphone access is used to provide audio recording functionality.
The App does not intentionally activate the microphone for voice-note recording without an action from you.
You may revoke microphone permission at any time through your device settings. Disabling microphone access will prevent features that require audio recording from functioning.
Voice recordings created with the App may be stored locally on your device.
If you choose to use a transcription, AI summary, or other feature that requires cloud processing, relevant audio or derived text may be transmitted to the service provider used to perform the requested function.
We do not intend to transmit your locally stored recordings for AI processing unless the requested feature requires such processing.
AI Note may provide speech-to-text functionality.
Depending on your device, language, app version and available functionality, transcription may be performed on your device or through an external processing service.
If cloud processing is required, the relevant audio or text may be transmitted to a transcription provider solely as necessary to provide the requested feature, subject to that provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.
AI Note may provide optional AI-assisted features such as:
• Summarization
• Key-point extraction
• Action-item extraction
• Text rewriting
• Note organization
• Questions about supported note content
When you intentionally use a cloud-based AI feature, relevant text, transcripts, prompts or other content necessary to fulfill your request may be transmitted to an AI service provider.
AI processing is initiated only when required for the feature you choose to use.
AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for a particular purpose. You should review generated information before relying on it.
AI Note may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
Advertising providers may process information such as:
• Advertising identifiers
• Device information
• IP address
• Approximate location derived from network information
• App interactions
• Advertising interactions
• Diagnostic information
The exact information processed depends on the advertising SDK configuration, your region, device settings, consent choices and the services enabled in the App.
Where required by applicable law, consent choices will be presented before personalized advertising or related processing occurs.
We may use analytics and diagnostic services to understand app performance, crashes and feature usage.
Depending on the services configured in the App, these services may process information such as:
• Device type
• Operating system version
• App version
• App interactions

We do not sell your personal notes or voice recordings.
Information may be disclosed to service providers when necessary to provide features you request, operate advertising or analytics services, maintain App security, comply with applicable law, or protect our legal rights.
Service providers process information according to their own applicable terms, privacy policies and contractual obligations.
Notes and recordings stored locally remain on your device until you delete them, clear App data, uninstall the App, or they are otherwise removed through your device or App functionality.
Information transmitted to third-party services may be retained according to the relevant provider's policies and the configuration used by the App.
Where we directly control server-side user content, we retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was processed, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
You can delete locally stored notes, recordings, transcripts and related content through available App controls.
You may also remove locally stored App data using Android system settings or by uninstalling the App.
For information directly controlled by us that cannot be deleted through the App, you may contact us using the contact information provided below to request deletion where applicable.
Information processed independently by third-party services may be subject to those providers' retention and deletion practices.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled through the App.
However, no electronic transmission, processing or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device and any sensitive information you choose to store in your notes or recordings.
AI Note is not designed specifically for children.
We do not knowingly use the App to solicit personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review the request and take appropriate action.
You are responsible for using recording features lawfully.
Laws regarding recording conversations vary by jurisdiction. Before recording another person or conversation, obtain any consent required under applicable law.
AI Note does not determine whether you have legal permission to record a particular conversation.
Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you reside.
Where applicable, information is handled according to the provider's safeguards and applicable data protection requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our data practices, third-party services or applicable requirements change.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
