Welcome to the Corteva Symposia Series - Córdoba 2025
We are excited to invite you to a scientific congress organized by a team of eleven early-career researchers. Registration was free, and the deadline to register and submit your abstract was September 30, 2025!
As part of the Corteva Symposia Series and sponsored by Corteva, this event will take place on October 22nd and 23rd, 2025, at the University of Córdoba’s Rectorate Auditorium. The congress is primarily aimed at degree and master’s students, PhD candidates, and young researchers eager to deepen their knowledge and connect with peers in Plant Breeding and Agronomy, two fields where Córdoba plays a key role.
Students who are about to complete or have recently completed their degrees or master’s programs are welcome to present their final projects (TFG or TFM), and PhD candidates are also encouraged to present their work
Why Córdoba?
Córdoba, located in Andalusia, Spain, is a strategic hub for hosting this event. The city hosts internationally renowned institutions such as the University of Córdoba (UCO), the Sustaintable Agriculture Institute (IAS-CSIC) and the Andalusian Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research and Training (IFAPA).
Its central location in Andalusia ensures excellent rail and road connectivity, making it easily accessible from across Spain. Beyond its scientific prestige, Córdoba offers a rich cultural and historical heritage, boasting four UNESCO World Heritage Sites — providing a unique and inspiring setting for academic exchange and networking.
Our Mission
Our goal is to create a dynamic space that fosters interaction between companies, researchers, and students, highlighting the strength of the research and innovation ecosystem in Andalusia and Cordoba in particular.
