Privacy Policy — Prevailing Wage Timekeeper
Effective date: October 7, 2025
App name: Previliage Time Keeper
Thank you for using Previliage Time Keeper. This Privacy Policy explains what personal and device information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you accept the practices described below.
We collect location data (latitude & longitude) from Google location services to determine employee work location and convert that to a readable address (reverse geocoding).
We collect expense records entered in the app.
We collect incident/problem reports (text, photos, timestamps) related to work.
We process subscription and payment information (we do not store full payment card numbers if a third-party payment processor is used).
We store and use the above data to provide, improve, and bill for the app services.
You control many aspects of data collection via app settings and by managing your account.
What: Latitude & longitude retrieved via Google location APIs (device-provided), and the resulting human-readable address (reverse geocoding).
Why: To track/verify where employees are working (time & location), support attendance/timekeeping, and produce location-based reports.
How gathered: With the device’s permission prompt (users must grant location permissions). We only access the location while the app requires it or as allowed by device settings. and only the user also sees this,
Name, employee ID, email address, phone number, job title, department.
Clock-in/out timestamps, duration, work sessions, and associated location data.
Expense entries you submit: amount, currency, date, category, notes, and receipt images.
Text descriptions, photos, timestamps, and any location data attached to the report.
App usage logs, crash reports, device model, OS version, IP address, and diagnostics to improve stability and performance.
Subscription status, billing records, and transaction IDs. We use a third-party payment processor for card handling; full card numbers are not stored on our servers (unless you use an in-app payment method that requires storage — see below).
We use the collected data to:
Provide and operate the app (timekeeping, reporting, expense tracking).
Authenticate accounts, store, and present employee records.
Generate location-based address information from lat/long (reverse geocoding).
Process subscriptions, invoices, and refunds.
Investigate and resolve incidents or disputes.
Improve, update, and secure the app.
Send important service messages, billing reminders, and (with your consent) product updates and marketing.
Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights or safety of users and third parties.
If you are in a jurisdiction that requires a legal basis (e.g., GDPR), our legal grounds include:
Consent — for things like receiving marketing communications.
Contract — to perform the services you’ve requested (timekeeping, subscription).
Legitimate interests — to prevent fraud, improve product, and analyze usage.
Legal compliance — for obligations such as taxes or legal requests.
We may share personal data in the following limited scenarios:
With your employer (The user only), you will receive aggregated and individual time/location/expense reports as part of the service.
Service providers — payment processors, hosting providers, analytics and crash reporting services, and email delivery services. These providers are contractually required to protect your information.
Legal requests — to comply with law enforcement, court orders, or other legal process.
Business transfers — if Previliage Time Keeper is sold or merged, data may be transferred as part of the transaction (with notice).
With your consent, any other sharing you explicitly approve.
We use trusted third-party payment processors to manage all payments and subscriptions securely.
All subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed directly through Apple’s In-App Purchase system (for iOS) and Google Play Billing (for Android).
These platforms handle the entire payment flow, including authorization, billing, and subscription renewal.
We do not collect or store any raw card information on our servers. All sensitive payment data is managed and protected by Apple and Google according to their security and PCI-compliance standards.
We only receive non-sensitive information, such as transaction confirmations and billing records, necessary to provide premium features and manage your subscription status.
We retain personal data as long as necessary to provide services and satisfy business or legal needs (for example: account records for billing, payroll/expense audit trails). Typical retention periods:
Account data: until account termination + 2 years (or as required by law).
Attendance & location logs: retained for employer auditing needs or as required by law (configurable by employer where applicable).
Expense records and receipts: retained for tax/audit purposes, typically 6 years unless otherwise specified.
You may request deletion or export—see “Your Rights” below.
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data (encryption in transit, access controls, secure hosting). However no system is 100% secure—if a breach occurs we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access, correct, or update your personal data.
Request deletion of your data (subject to retention obligations).

We may update this Privacy Policy. When changes are material, we will notify users via the app and/or email and publish the updated policy with a revised effective date.
