Preventify Privacy Policy

Preventify LLC ("Preventify," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Preventify mobile application ("App"). By using Preventify, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Data Storage — Local Only
All data you provide within Preventify is stored exclusively on your device using local device storage. Preventify does not transmit, upload, or sync any user data to external servers, cloud services, or third-party platforms. We do not operate servers that receive or store your personal information.
Because all data is local:
- Your data never leaves your device.
- We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve your data.
- If you delete the App or clear App data, all information is permanently and irreversibly lost.
- There is no account system, cloud backup, or data synchronization.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The following information may be stored locally on your device when you use the App:
a. Profile Information
Your first name (entered manually during setup), age confirmation (13 or older)
b. Fitness & Training Preferences
Primary sport (e.g., tennis, soccer, basketball, volleyball, track & field), training frequency, training experience level, training intensity, season phase, tightness/stiffness self-assessment, energy level self-assessment, available equipment
c. App Usage Data (Local Only)
Completed workouts, check-in history, workout preferences, progress data, achievement data, points and streak data
d. App Settings
Notification preferences, daily reminder preferences
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
Preventify does not collect, transmit, or have access to:
- Email addresses, passwords, or authentication tokens
- Medical diagnoses, treatment history, or clinical data
- Pain severity scores or medical assessments
- Surgeries, medications, or imaging results
- Heart rate, blood pressure, VO₂ max, or other biometric data
- Location data, IP addresses, or device identifiers
- Any information considered Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA
- Any analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry sent to external servers
4. No Third-Party Data Sharing
Preventify does not share, sell, rent, trade, or transfer any user data to any third party for any purpose. Because all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us, there is no data for us to share.
Preventify does not use third-party analytics services, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or any external data processing services that receive user data.
5. No Accounts or Authentication
Preventify does not require or support account creation, email registration, social login (including Google Sign-In), or any form of authentication. Your name is stored locally on your device for personalization purposes only and is never transmitted.
6. Minor Users — Strict Age Restriction
Preventify is strictly prohibited for users under the age of 13. There are no exceptions, including with parental or guardian consent. Users under 13 may not use Preventify under any circumstances.
The App includes an age verification gate during the initial setup process. By confirming your age, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older.
Users between 13 and 17 years of age should use the App with the awareness and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
If we become aware that a user under 13 has accessed the App, we recommend the parent or guardian delete the App from the device, which will permanently remove all locally stored data.
7. Data Deletion
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times:
- You may delete all data from within the App using the "Delete All Data" feature in your Profile settings.
- You may uninstall the App, which will permanently remove all stored data.
- We cannot delete your data remotely because we do not have access to it.
8. Data Security
Your data is stored using standard device-level storage mechanisms provided by the operating system (iOS/Android). We do not implement additional encryption beyond what the operating system provides. Because no data is transmitted over any network, there is no risk of interception during transmission.
9. Not Medical Advice
Preventify provides general injury prevention and movement guidance for informational purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Users should discontinue use and consult a medical professional if discomfort or injury occurs.
10. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Preventify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App enforces an age gate that prevents users under 13 from proceeding. Because all data is local and never transmitted, no children's data is collected by Preventify LLC.
11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because Preventify does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to any server or third party, the following applies:
- Right to Know: No personal information is collected by Preventify LLC.
- Right to Delete: All data is under your sole control on your device.
- Right to Opt-Out: Preventify does not sell personal information.
- Non-Discrimination: Preventify does not discriminate based on privacy rights.
12. International Users
Preventify is operated by Preventify LLC, located in the State of Texas, United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, please be aware that all data remains on your local device and is not transferred internationally.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be made available within the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
