Hello! My name is Ronke and I was born in Atlanta, GA to Nigerian parents. I graduated with a B.A. in Journalism (concentration in Public Relations) from Georgia State University and a M.B.A. from Rollins College.
As a 4x marathoner, I learned to sew so I could create a teeshirt quilt from my race shirts. In 2020 I started making masks and that evolved into other handcrafted items. That is when I officially started Pretty House of Ola, LLC! Growing up in a traditional Naija household, it was important to pay homage to our culture and that is why the cowrie is in the center of my logo.
I love creating and making up new things while discovering new techniques. With my motto of “perfectly imperfect”, I owe a lot of what I’ve learned to the women I’ve affectionately nicknamed "The OGs". Contact me for more details - hope to hear from you soon!
Xo,
Ronke
