Preston u3a Petanque Group

Petanque is a game played between two teams made up of 1, 2 or 3 players. The purpose of the game is to place your boule closer to the jack than your opponent. It's fun, sociable and may need a bit of concentration, the odd strategy and some tactics! The game is played outside, so players need to dress weather appropriately and wear fully enclosed footwear.

We have two groups now meeting the first and second Wednesdays of the month, 10am-12noon at the Broughton & District Club, Whittingham Lane, Broughton PR3 5DA.
