Hello, my name is Avril Scott, and I currently lead the Creative Writing Group at Preston U3a where we practice our writing craft in short stories on various themes and settings. This is a popular and enjoyable way to write short fiction for pleasure. 

This new group offers writers support in writing longer fiction with the opportunity to share ideas with like-minded people and thrash out dilemmas over plot and character development. 

Group members can explore the craft of writing while developing their own strengths in a forum for exchanging ideas and enthusiasm for fiction writing.

The group is open to members of Preston and District u3a; the session costs will depend on the venue, with a maximum charge of £3.
