tofutofu manifesto

RisoOur duo name “t☒ふ豆부” originated from our desire to challenge the dominance of the English language. Similarly, tofutofu manifesto is our public invitation to audiences to take joy in their multicultural and multilingual experiences by using a random, non-hierarchical order and bringing different fonts and colors into play in our visual representation of our duo name. In addition, we also prompt audiences to engage with tofutofu manifesto not just as a two-dimensional poster but as an object, encouraging them to tear along the perforations to form their own configurations, challenging the definition of what a poster is and simultaneously echoing the concepts involved in our parallel project, 8 ways to cut tofu.
