Press Factory is a game. This policy says what information the game collects, why, who handles it, and the choices you have. In short: game statistics, to make the game better, through GameAnalytics; with your consent where the law requires it, and you can switch them off at any time. No ads, no tracking across other companies' apps, nothing sold.
When game statistics are on (see "Your choices" below), the game sends:
How you play: how far you get (war regions, press levels), what you build and buy with in-game coins, which screens and cards you open, how long you play and how often, the game's settings you change.
Diagnostics: crashes and errors, frame rate and memory use.
Device information: the device model, iOS version, language, the app's version, and the country (worked out by GameAnalytics from the internet address, which is not stored as such).
Identifiers: a random ID created for this installation of the game, and the identifier iOS gives the apps of one developer (IDFV). The game does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and never asks to track you.
The game does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or any account information. There is no sign-in.
To understand how the game is played (where new players get stuck, which features are used, what is too hard or too easy), to find and fix crashes, and to make the game better. The statistics are not used for advertising and are never sold.
The statistics are processed for us by GameAnalytics ApS (Copenhagen, Denmark), an analytics service for games, under its terms and data processing agreement. Its privacy policy: gameanalytics.com/privacy. We may show the statistics, in aggregate, to a game publisher we work with.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Turkey, South Korea and China, and on devices with no region set, the game asks for your consent before anything is sent, and sends nothing unless you choose ALLOW. Elsewhere statistics are on by default on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the game, and you can switch them off at any time.
In the game, SETTINGS > ANALYTICS switches statistics off (or on) at any time. When off, nothing more is sent.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the statistics sent from your device: write to us (below) with your data ID, shown in the game under SETTINGS > PRIVACY POLICY.
You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Statistics are kept only as long as they are needed to analyze and improve the game, as GameAnalytics' retention allows; totals that no longer identify a device may be kept longer.
Your saved game and your settings (sound, music, vibration, statistics on or off) are kept on your device (and in its backup) so the game can continue where you left off. They are deleted when you delete the game.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and the statistics are never used for advertising or to build a profile of anyone. If you believe a child's data was sent, write to us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here before the game version it applies to, and the date above will change.
