Press Box After Dark is a group of former co-workers that became lifelong friends who want to share our love of sports with all of you. We will strive to give you creative sports content and hope to grow this brand over time with your help. We are five friends that worked together in the wild world of college athletics and now that we are all no longer in that field, we felt it was time for us to share our passion for creating sports content with whoever wants to listen. Coming in 2024

Press Box After Dark will be launching a Podcast in the summer of 2024. Our Podcast will be focus on sports and entertaining topics that only the minds of the Press Box Crew can come up with. If you read and enjoy our blogs then you will definitely enjoy our podcast. 

I'm the member of the Press Box crew that is from Mississippi. Contrary to popular belief we do have Wifi in Mississippi. Plus thanks to spell check most of the words I type are spelled correctly... I hope. I am a lifelong Mississippi State fan. College Football and College Baseball are the sports I follow the most and will cover for this blog. I also am the resident T-Shirt designer for the crew. You can see one of my designs in my picture to the right. My southern accent is elite and if you don't believe me then listen to our Podcast when it launches. My goal with everything I do for this site is to make you laugh while being informative about what I cover. If I can do that, it's a win in my book. Thank you for checking out Press Box After Dark. 

Zach is the crew's resident Iowan. He is a lover of all things Hawkeyes, Punts, and Caitlin Clark. He is also one of the biggest Dallas Cowboy fans you'll ever meet and since he's from Iowa, the Chicago Cubs have his MLB fandom. Zach is also a former sports information director along with being a play-by-play commentator that has called hundreds of games on ESPN. Zach will anchor Press Box After Dark's NFL coverage and will be the host of our Podcast coming in 2024.

Jordan spent more than a decade working in Sports Information at various levels, with duties including media relations, graphic design, video editing, student-athlete award nominations, official record keeping, and budget management. He has served on and chaired multiple regional and national committees, including volunteer work for the Conference Commissioner's Association and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Jordan was twice voted by his peers as the PacWest Conference Sports Information Director of the Year before transitioning out of college athletics in the fall of 2022.

Jordan is still involved with sports as a diehard fan, and he doesn’t miss much news about his teams. He roots for the Texas Longhorns and Texas Rangers but considers himself to be one of few “reasonable” people in each of those fanbases. He enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s a lake or a night by the fire, and he indulges in the occasional cigar. The fantasy waiver wire and picking on Hunter are pretty much daily activities, writing and talking about sports are some of his favorite things to do, and he doesn’t take too many things, including himself, too seriously.

Cameron is the young buck of the group and often gets picked on for not recalling any information before 2001. At times, Cameron has been known to be referred to as Headband Cam, his alter ego (But that’s a story for another time). Cameron is a bit of a homer and will defend his beloved teams of the West Virginia Mountaineers, the Atlanta Braves, and his Alma Mater, James Madison, to no end. Cameron has no writing experience and often gets picked on by his peers at work for being a pointer finger typer, but by golly he’ll get the job done.” Cameron also had his appendix removed in the Summer of 2022 because his body decided he didn’t need it anymore (also a story for another time).

Landon is the most lovable member of the Press Box crew. He is our future producer of the Press Box After Dark Podcast and our former football ops guy. Landon is a Texas Tech and Abilene Christian grad that will provide more Big XII knowledge and FCS football coverage for the site. Also a native Texan, he is on an emotional sports high with the Texas Rangers winning the 2023 World Series. So much so that he waited in line for three hours at an Academy Sports and Outdoors the night the Rangers won for championship gear. Every group needs a glue guy and Landon is that guy.
