Activity:

Students will have to make an oral presentation so that their speaking skills can be tested. It will have an approximate duration of five minutes.

For this activity, you'll have to record yourself on video talking about the selected subject you have chosen from the list below. You will have a whole week to prepare it and upload it to the tasks section in Teams. No presentation will be marked after the due date unless there is a justified reason.

Some advice

  • Don't leave it for the last day.

  • Look at the camera while speaking.

  • Speak loud and clearly. Don't whisper or mumble. We need to hear what you are saying.

  • Don't read from a paper. It is a presentation, not a reading exercise.

  • Check your pronunciation. If there's a word you don't know how to pronounce, check it, you can do it online, some webs to do so:

  • Use your imagination and creativity! You can use different applications and software for the presentation as long as it is clear it is you speaking in the video.
