Here are a few things I am doing to prepare myself for some of the minor mishaps in life (and do not dare to laugh at the first one that has proven so useful in recent years to be in a first Help Manual should stand!)
I have a variety of items in my everyday backpack, which also serves as a laptop bag. This bag is always nearby, whether I’m at home, at work or traveling. That’s why I have a small bag of OTC medications like eye drops, Rolaids, Tums, Advil and Benadryl. It also includes cash and a few dollars in quarters, a solar charger for my phone, a flashlight, extra batteries and usually a few snacks and a bottle of water. Other articles float back and forth when I hear of new products and tires of others that do not come in handy. Remember, however, that this is not primarily a prep bag and that prepping may not do it. It’s my everyday bag with a few pockets that I’m always prepared with.
I take my bag and I take my toolbox out of the Jeep and I put them in the back of the suburban get back the next day I’m gonna be riding with a wife I take my toolbox and I take my bag and I put it in my wife you understand what it is it’s not filled with all the gear everything that you need your level of training dictates how much equipment you have your level of being able it dictates how much equipment you have that you have to have.
