PrepPilot ("PrepPilot", "we", "us", or "our") is a checklist and preparation management application designed to help users create, organize, track, and receive reminders for preparation tasks and events.

This Privacy Policy explains how PrepPilot handles information when you use the PrepPilot Android application ("App").

By using PrepPilot, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy 

2.2 Local Device Data

In the current version of PrepPilot, the information you create in the App is stored locally on your Android device.

The App does not require you to create an account in order to use its core checklist functionality.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in a future version of this Privacy Policy, your checklist, event, and task information is not transmitted to our servers.

3. How We Use Information

Information entered into PrepPilot is used to provide the App's functionality, including:

• Creating and managing preparation events

• Creating and managing checklists

• Creating and managing tasks

• Organizing tasks into categories

• Calculating checklist completion progress

• Displaying upcoming events

• Displaying pending tasks

• Scheduling reminders

• Sending local notifications

• Providing reusable checklist templates

• Displaying statistics and progress information

• Improving the usability and functionality of the App

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Sharing

Current version(PrepPilot Lite)

In the current MVP version of PrepPilot, checklist and task information is stored locally on your device and is not shared with third parties by us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Future Features and Third-Party Services

Future versions of PrepPilot may introduce features such as:

• Cloud synchronization

• User accounts

• AI-powered checklist generation

• Analytics

• Crash reporting

• Cloud backup

• Checklist sharing

• Location-based functionality

• Weather services

If such functionality requires the collection or sharing of personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy and the applicable Google Play Data Safety disclosures to accurately describe the relevant data practices.

Third-party SDKs or services included in future versions may also collect information according to their own privacy policies. We will disclose applicable data practices as required. 

5. Data Storage

In the current version(PrepPilot Lite), PrepPilot stores application data locally on your Android device.

This may include:

• Events

• Checklists

• Tasks

• Categories

• Reminder settings

• Completion status

• App preferences

Because this information is stored locally, uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data may permanently remove information stored by PrepPilot.

You are responsible for maintaining any backup of information that you consider important.

6. Data Retention

For the current version (PrepPilot Lite), we retain locally stored information for as long as it remains stored on your device.

You can delete individual events, checklists, and tasks using the deletion functionality provided by the App.

You can also remove locally stored App data by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's storage through Android device settings.

Because the current MVP does not maintain a server-side account or database containing your checklist information, we do not retain your checklist data on our servers after it is removed from your device.

7. Data Deletion

You may delete information stored by PrepPilot using the deletion features available within the App.

You may also delete all locally stored PrepPilot data by:

1. Opening your Android device Settings.

2. Opening Apps or Applications.

3. Selecting PrepPilot.

4. Selecting Storage.

5. Selecting Clear Data or uninstalling the App.

The exact wording and location of these options may vary depending on your Android device manufacturer and Android version.

If you contact us regarding deletion of information, we will explain whether we hold any information associated with your request and what deletion options are available.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by PrepPilot.

For the current version (PrepPilot Lite):

• Checklist information is stored locally on your device.

• The App does not intentionally transmit checklist information to our servers.

• We limit access to device permissions to those reasonably necessary for App functionality.

• We do not intentionally collect passwords or authentication credentials.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your Android device, including device lock mechanisms, operating-system security updates, and other security controls available on your device.

9. Permissions

PrepPilot requests only permissions necessary to provide its functionality.

For example, the App may request notification permission where required by the Android version and device configuration so that scheduled reminders can be delivered.

We will not request access to personal or sensitive information unless it is necessary for a feature provided by the App.

If permissions are introduced in a future version, they will be used only for their stated functionality and will be reflected in the App's applicable disclosures and Google Play Data Safety information.

10. Children's Privacy

PrepPilot is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at info@itellisolutions.in.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where collection is not permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information. 

11. Third-Party Services

The current version (PrepPilot Lite) is designed to operate without requiring third-party services to store your checklist information.

The App may nevertheless rely on Android platform services required for normal application functionality, such as notification delivery.

If third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, authentication, cloud storage, AI, or other services are added in future versions, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant services and data practices.

12. Advertising

The current version (PrepPilot Lite) does not intentionally collect personal information for advertising purposes.

If advertising is introduced in a future version, the applicable data collection, sharing, and advertising practices will be disclosed in this Privacy Policy and in the Google Play Data Safety section.

13. Analytics

The current version (PrepPilot Lite) does not intentionally collect personal information through analytics services.

If analytics or similar measurement technologies are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain:

• What information is collected

• Why it is collected

• How it is used

• Whether it is shared with service providers

• How users can control applicable collection

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

• Changes to PrepPilot

• New features

• Changes in applicable laws

• Changes in data-processing practices

• Changes to third-party services

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.

For material changes, we may also provide additional notice within the App or through other reasonable means.

15. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to:

• Request deletion of personal information

Because the current MVP primarily stores checklist information locally on your device and does not maintain a server-side user account, many requests can be fulfilled directly through the App's data-management or Android device controls.
