Hairline cracks in the concrete must be opened up and filled with an epoxy crack filler compound before installing the floor system in order to create a seamless surface.

Dust caused by grinding must be removed from the concrete slab to allow the epoxy or polyaspartic coating to penetrate into the concrete and form a unbreakable mechanical bond

The floor is now ready to accept a resinous flooring system.
