Advising: This includes mentorship or can be an essay brainstorming session (e.g. personal statement or secondaries). For mentorship (those seeking guidance before their application cycle), I typically met with those students once a month. I ask at the end of the session for recurrent students to sign up for next month's session in order to avoid losing their appointment slot.
