Abdelrahman “Bodi” Abdelrazek founded PAP during his first year at WSU after realizing how isolating and overwhelming the pre-med journey could be — especially for students without connections, guidance, or representation.
As a first-gen student and aspiring doctor, he launched PAP to create the kind of support system he wished he had: one built on mentorship, belonging, and opportunity. What began with one campus has now sparked a growing network of chapters across Washington.
The Pre-Med Advisory Program (PAP) was first founded at Washington State University (WSU) as a registered student organization in 2025. Recognizing a critical gap in support for early pre-med students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, PAP launched its first conference just weeks after its creation — bringing students together for mentorship, academic guidance, and community building.
With its mission resonating deeply, the student leaders behind PAP knew this couldn’t stop at one campus. Fueled by a vision of equity and empowerment, they began expanding the organization into a statewide nonprofit — committed to helping first- and second-year pre-med students across college campuses throughout Washington State.
What began as a campus initiative is now growing into a movement — one chapter, one student, and one story at a time.
