This Privacy Policy explains what information the game processes, why it is used, who receives it, and the choices available to you.
Predict Physics does not require you to enter an email address, password, phone number, or real name to play. Its online features use an automatically generated Firebase identifier to recognize your player record. This identifier is pseudonymous: it does not require your real identity, but it can link records belonging to the same player.
1. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The game stores information locally to operate its features and preserve your progress. This includes your private profile name and selected character; level progress, attempts, answers, current streak and personal best streaks; unlocked hints and records needed to apply reward and streak rules; sound, music and other preferences; and local identifiers and counters used to manage gameplay and advertising frequency.
In the current version, your freely entered private profile name, detailed answers, hint history and physics simulation data are not uploaded to the leaderboard database. Only the limited public leaderboard information described below is synchronized.
2. INFORMATION PROCESSED OUTSIDE YOUR DEVICE
Anonymous identity and authentication
Goldencapy uses Google Firebase Authentication to process an anonymous Firebase user identifier, authentication tokens and related technical information. This recognizes your player record, maintains authentication and authorizes access to your records. Google Firebase also processes IP addresses and technical information about the app, device and SDK to operate, maintain and secure its services and prevent abuse.
Public leaderboard data
Goldencapy uses Google Cloud Firestore to process your public alias, selected preset avatar, best streak, achievement timestamp, catalog version and Firebase user identifier. These records synchronize personal bests and provide overall and mode-specific leaderboards.
Advertising data
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads processes IP addresses, approximate location inferred from them, Android advertising IDs and other applicable device or account identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information. These are used to deliver and measure advertising, provide service-related analytics, and prevent fraud and abuse.
Consent information
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) processes privacy selections, consent status and technical information needed to manage consent. This determines when privacy choices are required, remembers those choices and applies them to advertising.
App and device integrity
Google Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity process app and device integrity information, attestation tokens, app version and signing information, and Google Play licensing status. This helps verify requests and protect online services against unauthorized or abusive use.
Support messages
If you contact us, Goldencapy and the email provider used to receive messages, including Gmail, process your email address, message and any information you voluntarily include. This is used to respond to support enquiries and privacy-related requests.
3. YOUR PROFILE AND PUBLIC LEADERBOARDS
Your private profile name is separate from your public leaderboard alias. The current game lets you choose a public alias from approved suggestions.
After you select a public alias and achieve an eligible score, the game can publish your alias, avatar and best streak. Leaderboard records also contain your Firebase identifier, achievement timestamp and catalog version.
These leaderboard records are publicly readable. Some technical fields may not appear on the game screen, but they are part of the public record. Do not treat information submitted to a public leaderboard as confidential.
Anonymous authentication may begin automatically when the main menu becomes active and online services connect, even before you select a public alias. The absence of a login screen does not mean that no information is processed online.
Local gameplay remains available offline. Online rankings require connectivity, and synchronization failures do not replace a higher locally saved personal best with a lower cloud value.
4. ADVERTISING AND REWARDS
Predict Physics uses Google AdMob for interstitial advertisements at gameplay transitions and optional rewarded advertisements. Rewarded advertisements may provide an available in-game benefit, such as unlocking a hint or rescuing a streak. A reward is granted only after the advertising SDK confirms that it was earned.
Google's advertising SDK processes information such as ad views, taps, app launches, identifiers and diagnostics. Diagnostic information can include app startup time, hang rates and energy usage.
The game uses Google UMP to manage advertising privacy choices where required. Advertising requests are gated on completion of the app's consent checks and confirmation from UMP that ads may be requested.
Where applicable, you can reopen Privacy choices from the game's settings to review or change your selections. You can also manage your advertising identifier through Android's advertising privacy settings.
Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop every form of technical processing. Information may still be processed for permitted purposes such as contextual advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention, subject to your choices and applicable requirements.
5. WHO RECEIVES INFORMATION
The principal recipients are Goldencapy, as the developer responsible for the game's data practices; Google and its relevant affiliates, which provide AdMob, UMP, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase App Check and Play Integrity; service providers and subprocessors used by Google as described in its applicable policies and terms; people accessing the public leaderboard; and our email provider when you contact us.
We do not include your private profile name or detailed puzzle solutions in our AdMob requests. Google may process and share advertising information according to its services, applicable policies and your privacy choices.
If you follow an advertisement to another website or application, information you provide there is governed by that third party's privacy policy.
6. INFORMATION THE GAME DOES NOT REQUEST
The game does not require your real name, email address, phone number or home address to play. It does not provide a feature for uploading personal photographs or files.
The game does not request access to your contacts, messages, calendar, camera, microphone, health information or financial information. Avatars are preset characters included with the game.
The game does not request precise GPS location. Advertising services may nevertheless infer an approximate location from your IP address.
These statements do not cover information you voluntarily include in a support message or submit to an external website or application.
7. RETENTION AND DELETION
Local game information remains on your device until it is changed or removed. Clearing the app's storage through Android settings can erase local progress, preferences and authentication information.
Uninstalling the game or clearing its local storage does not automatically delete Firebase authentication records or previously uploaded leaderboard entries. Records created by earlier versions may remain until they are updated or separately deleted.
The current version does not offer an in-app, self-service cloud account or leaderboard deletion feature. The app also does not apply a fixed automatic expiry period to leaderboard records.
You may contact goldencapy.contact@gmail.com about your information, privacy rights or deletion requests. This email contact is not an automated deletion service. We may need limited information to identify the relevant record and verify a request.
Information processed by Google is subject to the retention and deletion practices of the relevant Google service. Withdrawing advertising consent does not, by itself, delete all information previously processed.
8. SECURITY AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Communications with the Google services described here use encryption in transit. Database rules restrict leaderboard writes to the authenticated owner of each record while allowing public leaderboard reads. These safeguards do not constitute a guarantee of absolute security or protection against every form of cheating.
Google may process information on servers outside your country. Its applicable service terms and data-transfer arrangements govern that processing.
9. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can change your private profile name, preset avatar and public alias using the available game controls. You can also review advertising privacy choices where available, manage your Android advertising identifier and clear local app data.
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Contact us at the address below to raise a privacy enquiry or exercise an applicable right. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
10. CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS
Predict Physics is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. The game does not require a real name or date of birth to play.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the game, please contact goldencapy.contact@gmail.com. Privacy and deletion requests are handled as described in the Retention and deletion section of this policy.
11. POLICY CHANGES AND CONTACT
We may update this policy when the game's features, service providers or data practices change. We will revise the Last updated date and provide additional notice or request consent when required.
