About Me
My yoga journey began over 20 years ago when I discovered the transformative power of group yoga classes. I instantly fell in love with how yoga seamlessly combines meditation and physical movement, offering both strength and serenity. Throughout my 15-year career in high-tech as a program manager, product manager, and technical marketing engineer, yoga became my anchor—a source of solace and balance amidst the demands of corporate life.
As my practice deepened, so did my passion for yoga. I earned my yoga certifications from the Joy of Yoga School in Los Gatos and Breathe Together Yoga, and I am proud to be a registered member of Yoga Alliance. These credentials have equipped me with the tools to guide others on their journeys of self-discovery and healing. My teaching approach integrates the physical, emotional, and mental health benefits of yoga, rooted in years of practical and anatomical study.
Growing up, I witnessed the profound and lasting effects of unresolved grief. Both of my parents lost their mothers at a young age, and their experiences shaped my understanding of how grief can echo through generations. This awareness inspired me to create safe, supportive spaces where individuals can process their grief, heal, and rebuild.
Through my personal journey of mending generational wounds, I have found joy in healing both forwards and backwards within my family’s lineage. Yoga has been a cornerstone of this transformation, guiding me to resilience, self-awareness, and peace.
Today, I specialize in yoga for grief, flow yoga, and yoga for climbers, blending my technical expertise with a deep passion for holistic wellness. My classes are designed to empower individuals, foster resilience, and cultivate a sense of connection and growth. Whether you’re seeking physical strength, mental clarity, or emotional healing, I am here to support and guide you every step of the way.
Let’s move, breathe, and grow together.
To provide a warm, inclusive space where each individual can ground themselves, embrace healing, and cultivate a life of mindful movement and inner peace. Through a balanced approach, our studio offers practices tailored to both beginners and seasoned practitioners, helping them find stability, joy, and genuine connection within themselves and with the community.
Through a blend of Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga, as well as specialized classes like Flow for Climbers, Beginners’ Yoga, and Mommy & Me (Daddies Welcome Too!), I encourage students to explore movement that both strengthens and restores. With each session, I seek to create a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment that allows students to feel grounded, loved, and respected.
My teaching style is infused with qualities others have seen in me: a grounded, genuine presence; an organized, powerful approach; and a welcoming, joyful spirit. I believe in the healing power of yoga and meditation to address physical, emotional, and generational patterns, allowing us to rediscover our innate resilience and strength.
