Families accepted into the ECC program follow an accelerated case plan that includes additional services, visits, staffings, and hearings. A GAL assigned to an ECC case should expect an additional time commitment. The training linked below provides the information needed to understand and work on an Early Childhood Court case. New GALs and GALs without ECC training are strongly encouraged to watch it before or shortly after receiving this type of assignment.
