Two researches from the University bagged major prizes in the 8th SWEEP Innovation and Excellence Awards of SMART Communications Inc. held on February 21-22, 2012 at the Hall 1, SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. The Student Society on Information Technology Education BPSU Chapter co-hosted with Bataan Heroes Memorial College the conduct of the 2012 Student Conference on Information Technology Education (SCITE) last February 1-3 at Louis Resort and Restaurant. This was during the Central Luzon Skills Competition sponsored by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) held last January 25-26, 2012 at Guiguinto, Bulacan. The Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Orani Campus' Bachelor of Science in Fisheries (BSF) grants scholarship to deserving students. It is on its second year since it started in the First Semester of Academic Year 2010-2011.The student grantees are required to pay only the miscellaneous fee. Fifteen (15) and twenty eight (28) first year students had availed the scholarship in AY 2010-2011and AY 2011-2012 respectively.
