Juniors Racing Team
The PRC Juniors Racing Program develops foundational personal attributes crucial for winning in sport, school, and life.
We compete at the district, state, and national championship regattas under Florida Scholastic Rowing Association (FSRA) and Scholastic Rowing Association of America (SRAA), as well at the regional and national level under USRowing. Rowing is physically demanding, highly technical, and requires self discipline. The best school in the country have varsity rowing teams. Schools from the Ivy League, Big10, SEC, ACC, and independents such as Notre Dame have NCAA rowing teams.
PRC Juniors have gone on to row for Villanova, UConn, Stetson, LaSalle University, Ohio State, and Rutgers
The PRC Juniors Program is one division of the Pensacola Rowing Club, a not-for-profit 501(c)3.

The Program's Commitment to the Rower
The coaches and the program are committed to developing the individual as an athlete, a student, and a person. Rowing is a fantastic laboratory for a young person to experiment, learn how to achieve their goals, understand who they are, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

The Rowers' Commitment to the Program
The competition focus of our program is the FSRA Championships in April. The regatta site is in Sarasota and the state championships occur over two weekends, the second and fourth weekends in April. Our athletes must be committed to these dates.
We encourage athletes, especially those under 16, to participate in other sports.
For high school juniors and seniors, our program provides a year-round high-performance training schedule.
Varsity trains 5-6 days a week during the spring
Novices and middle school rowers will have 2-3 scheduled sessions a week during the spring. Additional practices are optional.
A critical piece if training equipment for rowers. Used universally by the competitive rowing community. Click on link above for more information.
