This Privacy Policy explains how PrayFirst (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PrayFirst mobile application (the “App”).
Depending on how you use the App, you may provide:
Optional journal notes / reflections
Optional mood check-ins
Reminder preferences (times and settings you choose)
Any messages you send to us (e.g., support requests)
If you do not create an account, we generally do not require personal information like your name, phone number, or address to use the App.
When you use the App, we may collect:
Device information (device model, OS version, language, time zone)
App usage and diagnostics (crash logs, performance data, basic usage events)
Identifiers (such as an Apple-provided device identifier or app instance identifier)
If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes your payment. We do not receive your full payment details (like your card number). We may receive:
Purchase status (active/expired)
Subscription type (weekly/yearly)
Transaction identifiers provided by Apple (for verification)
We use information to:
Provide and improve the App’s features (Prayer Lock, streaks, stats, timers, reminders)
Maintain and secure the App
Debug crashes and improve performance
Verify subscriptions and enable paid features
Respond to support requests
If you enable reminders, the App will send notifications at the times you choose. You can disable notifications anytime in your device settings.
If the App uses iOS Screen Time APIs or similar features to help block selected apps, this is used only to provide the Prayer Lock experience. We do not read your personal content inside other apps.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information only in these cases:
Service providers (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, infrastructure) who help us operate the App
Legal and safety reasons (to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent fraud or abuse)
Business transfers (if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale)
Service providers are permitted to process information only for us and under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
We retain information only as long as needed to:
Provide the App and its features
Meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements
Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
If certain data is stored on your device (such as local notes or mood entries), it remains there unless you delete the App or clear the data.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You can:
Disable notifications in device settings
Stop using the App at any time
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID / App Store settings
Request deletion of any data we store on our servers (if applicable) by contacting us (see Section 10)
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
If you use the App from outside your country, information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. We take steps to protect information consistent with this policy.
