Prayer Pal

What is it

Prayer Pal helps you find out your local prayer times for the five daily prayers, as well as fasting times for Ramadan.

How to use it

Open the Google Assistant app on your device by simply saying "Ok Google, talk to Prayer Pal"

Once you're connected to our agent, you can ask questions to get timings for prayers based on your location, such as:

    • "When is Asr salah?"
    • "What time is Maghrib in Mountain View?"
    • "When can I pray Isha?"
    • "When shall I wake up for Fajr?"

We support all five prayers, and also support queries for suhoor and iftar during Ramadan. Try asking:

    • "When do I start fasting?"
    • "When is iftar in Waterloo, Ontario?"
    • "I'm hungry, when can I break my fast?"
    • "Oh noes, when do I have to stop eating?!"

You can also invoke Prayer Pal directly by saying "Ok Google, ask Prayer Pal [your query here]".

Set up shortcuts

Add a shorter phrase, such as "when is Fajr", to match to "ask Prayer Pal when is Fajr". This will allow you to trigger Prayer Pal more quickly. You can add multiple phrases that will be reflected across all of your devices.
