Support & Frequently Asked Questions

Prayer Alarm: Wake With God
Last Updated: September 4, 2026

Prayer Alarm helps you wake with intention, begin your morning with Scripture, and build a consistent prayer habit.

For help, email argonpatel834@gmail.com. Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, and a short description of the problem.

Which devices are supported?

Prayer Alarm is designed for iPhone running iOS 26 or later.

System alarm behavior must be tested on a physical iPhone. An iOS Simulator cannot verify Lock Screen alarms, Silent Mode, Focus, or system sound delivery.

How do I create an alarm?

Wait for the confirmation that the alarm was successfully scheduled.

Will the alarm ring when my screen is off?

After Alarm access is granted and the alarm is successfully scheduled, Prayer Alarm uses Apple’s AlarmKit. iOS manages the system alarm even when your screen is locked.

AlarmKit is designed for prominent system alarms, including Lock Screen presentation. Learn more from Apple’s AlarmKit documentation.

Always test a real alarm on your physical iPhone before relying on it for an important event.

Does the alarm work in Silent Mode or Focus?

Apple’s AlarmKit is designed to deliver authorized system alarms through Silent Mode and Focus.

The alarm must remain enabled, Prayer Alarm must retain Alarm permission, and the alarm must have been successfully scheduled.

What happens if I close Prayer Alarm?

Once an alarm has been successfully scheduled, iOS manages it. Prayer Alarm does not need to remain open on the screen.

Do not delete the App, revoke Alarm permission, or disable the alarm.

What happens when the alarm rings?

The Apple system alarm appears first.

Tap Start Prayer to stop the alert, open Prayer Alarm, and continue into the Morning Verse. Your iPhone may require you to unlock it first.

If you use another system stop or dismissal action, open Prayer Alarm manually to begin your prayer.

Why can’t I tap “Finish Prayer” immediately?

The passage is revealed gradually to encourage slow and intentional reading.

The Finish Prayer button becomes available only after the complete verse has appeared.

What does “Test Alarm & Prayer” do?

Test Alarm & Prayer previews the prayer experience inside the App.

It does not test complete Lock Screen delivery, Silent Mode, Focus, or behavior while the App is closed. You should also schedule a real alarm a few minutes ahead and test it on your physical iPhone.

How do I edit an alarm?

Open Alarms and tap the alarm card you want to change.

You can also tap the three-dot menu beside an alarm and select Edit.

How do I disable or delete an alarm?

Use the switch beside an alarm to enable or disable it without deleting it.

To remove an alarm permanently, tap its three-dot menu and select Delete.

How do I change the alarm sound?

Open the alarm for editing, scroll to Wake-up Sound, and select a sound.

Tap the play button beside a sound to preview it before saving.

Will I receive a different Bible verse?

Prayer Alarm rotates through a bundled library of 200 Bible passages after completed prayers. Passages are paired with rotating faith-inspired artwork.

Can I use Prayer Alarm offline?

The Bible passages, artwork, and wake-up sounds are included with the App.

A previously scheduled system alarm and bundled prayer content can work without an internet connection. Internet access may still be required to:

Is a subscription required?

Yes. Full App access requires an active subscription.

Available plans, localized prices, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and billing details are displayed on the subscription screen and Apple purchase confirmation before you approve a purchase.

Is a free trial available?

If a free trial is available and your Apple Account is eligible, the trial duration and the price charged after the trial will appear before you confirm the subscription.

Apple determines introductory-offer eligibility.

How do I restore my subscription?

Select Restore Purchases on the subscription screen.

Make sure you:

If access is still syncing, wait briefly and try Restore Purchases again. Apple also provides purchase restoration guidance.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple:

Deleting Prayer Alarm does not cancel an active subscription. See Apple’s subscription cancellation instructions.

How do I request a refund?

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple.

Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, and follow Apple’s refund instructions.

Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and may vary by country or region.

What if my purchase is pending?

Some purchases may require approval because of Family Sharing, parental controls, account restrictions, or Apple’s payment processing.

Premium access will become available after Apple confirms the transaction.

The subscription screen says options are unavailable. What should I do?

The alarm did not ring. What should I check?

Until you have successfully tested Prayer Alarm on your device, use a backup alarm for critical, medical, emergency, travel, or safety-related commitments.

How do I delete my App data?

Prayer Alarm does not require a user account.

Alarm settings, onboarding responses, preferences, and verse progress are primarily stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting the App removes its locally stored App data, subject to Apple’s backup and restoration features.

Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription or erase transaction records maintained by Apple or RevenueCat.

For a privacy-related deletion request, email argonpatel834@gmail.com.
