Below are the pictures describing the process.
This was the actual product which I had ordered.
3D model of the push-up bar
So, I made a 3Dmodel of the same in Solidworks by creating each part first and assembling them together. Then I moved to ANSYS for the structural analysis. Chose the appropriate material (PP plastic) from the library and imported the assembly. Defined the contacts and at last, the force under which the push-up bar will be performing.
I applied the force of 700N which is more than half the weight of the human. The push-up bar will actually experience the force which is more than the weight of the human using it. So, assuming the worst conditions I took the force to be 700N.
Solved the model and evaluated the Deformation result.
The deformation was 2.6mm which is quite inside the safe limit and hence this bar will be durable.
The deformation after the application of force on the bar.
