Additionally, it calculates the average speed based on the gathered step information.

It's important to note that due to sensor inaccuracies, there may be a delay of up to 10 seconds in counting steps accurately. We strive to provide the best user experience while maintaining transparency about the app's functionalities and potential limitations.

Furthermore, our app offers users the flexibility to enable or disable the text-to-speech engine, which notifies them upon goal completion. With the inclusion of goal-setting functionality, users can establish personal targets for their activities. Upon completing an activity, users have the option to save their data if they choose to do so, ensuring that their progress is recorded and accessible for their convenience.

Data usage and Storage

Our app utilizes a local SQL database to store metrics such as step count, distance covered, calories burned, and average speed. This data is stored solely on the user's device and is not shared with any third party. We do not have access to this data nor do we transmit it to any external servers.

It's important to note that the data stored in the app will be permanently deleted in the following circumstances:

• When the user chooses to uninstall the app.

• If the user clears the storage associated with the app.
