Introduction

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics at the University of Ruhuna . I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Physics and Astrophysics at the University of North Dakota, USA. Prior to receiving my Ph.D., I earned a B.Sc. degree in Physics from Department of Physics at the university of Ruhuna.

My PhD studies were mainly focused on Extra galctic Astronomy. I have carried out a research about Star Formation Rates in Cluster Galaxies using the large 4m tlelscope in Kitt Peak National Observatory, Tuscan, Arizona.
