I am an Assistant Professor with the Department of Economics, University School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (Dwarka, New Delhi). I have a teaching experience of more than 11 years at Delhi University and GGS Indraprastha University. Prior to joining the academic sector, I have worked with the analytics industry for about 7 years. During my tenure with the corporate industry, I have worked extensively on credit risk modelling and marketing mix analytics. I am an economist with areas of interest and specialization in the field of applied economics, development economics and gender studies. Some of my ongoing research includes work on economics of gender, environment economics, labour market, economics of crime and marriage market outcomes.

I have completed PhD and M.Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University. I have done Master's in Economics from Delhi School of Economics (DSE) and Bachelor's in Economics from Hansraj College, Delhi University.
