I am an Associate Professor at the Delhi School of Economics, Department of Economics, University of Delhi, with over 14 years of teaching experience. Before transitioning to academia, I spent 07 years in the analytics industry, specializing in credit risk modeling and marketing mix analytics at corporations such as Accenture and Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO).
My academic training includes a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, M.A. in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
As an applied economist, my research interests lie in Economics of Gender, Environmental and Development Economics, Economics of Crime and Intra-household dynamics. My current projects focus on the gendered impacts of climate shocks, access to clean water, and intra-household decision-making.
